Catching Up With Rick Karlsruher and Noveltunity®

Last Summer, I did an interview with Rick Karlsruher about his concept of Noveltunity®. He was trying to launch the world’s first ebook club that exclusively features new or undiscovered writers.

He also wanted to change how book clubs work by allowing members to vote on what books become selections.

Let’s see what is happening with Noveltunity® (www.noveltunity.com ).

Hi Rick, how are you doing with Noveltunity®?

Hi, Irene, first let me thank you for being such a great supporter of Noveltunity®. I’d also like to thank all of your readers who have generously retweeted our first interview.

We are doing great! Last December we got our full beta test started hoping a few hundred people might find us. It was overwhelming to see that 8000 joined during that time.

We are averaging about 10,000 page views each day and are approaching a total of 2,500,000 page views.

That sounds great! You wanted to be a worldwide club. Has that happened?

Yes, it has! We have had submissions from two dozen countries. This month alone we have selections up for our vote from Canada, the US, England, Australia and the Netherlands.

In other months, we have featured writers from India, Bali, South Africa, Ireland, Romania and other nations.

Our members have come from nearly three dozen nations on six continents.

If a writer would like to submit their work, how would he or she do it?

It’s very simple. All we ask is for them to send the following to info@novelutinity.com :

Book cover

3 chapters

Author bio

Tell us if you have won any awards

Writers do not have to join to submit. Most who have been selected were not members when selected.

It’s a really good for them to join. It gives them access to our worldwide partners. Among them are multiple publishing houses, international rights managers, marketing experts and our readers.

How about the readers?

It’s their club too. We have readers from all over the world. Each month they get to read chapters from nine books and then vote on which ones go through. They get to meet the authors and learn about the craft and business of writing.

Each month they get to download the winning books as part of their membership.

How much is it to join?

Normally it would be US$49.95 for the 36 ebooks and so much more, but we want to thank you and all of your great followers by offering a 50% discount for them. If they would like to join, go to www.noveltunity.com and Sign Up using the code IRENE25.

Help us help writers! Make new friends and read a lot of great books.

This sounds great! Congratulations and thank you for sharing this with us!

Irene, thank you for all your support and thanks to all of your readers for all of the retweets.
